PROJECT INFORMATION


I made the Infographic Design Video about the origins and evolution of fireworks, from ancient China to the modern day.
It talks about how fireworks started as a way to scare off evil spirits and celebrate special occasions, and how they became the colorful displays we all know today.
The goal of this video is to share the fascinating history and cultural significance of fireworks while showing how they’ve evolved into a unique form of art and celebration.

WORK PROCESS


PROPOSAL

• Fireworks, one of the four great inventions in ancient China, began in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty.
• Fireworks were originally used to drive away wild animals, and later they were used to express joy during Chinese New Year and festivals. They are carriers of blessings and are part of traditional Chinese culture.
• Fireworks have been passed down for thousands of years. In this video, I use a combination of illustrations and real scenes to show the development history of fireworks.
• I hope this video can tell about the long history of fireworks and show how traditional culture and sense of belonging to history are reflected in Chinese fireworks.
